Practice - Work Experience
- I studied Traditional Chinese Medicine at The London Academy Of Oriental Medicine (1993-1997).
- My post-graduate and advanced studies have specialized in Fertility, IVF, and Gynaecology. After graduation, I received teachings on gynaecology from Professor Jin Hui De of Nanjing University. I then spent another two years receiving specialist clinical studies including fertility and pregnancy.
- In addition to Fertility and Gynaecology, I have completed further postgraduate training in the following topics: Dermatology, Digestive and Bowl Disease, Emotional and Mental disorders, Muscular-Skeletal, Urology, Circulatory and Respiratory Diseases.
- For five years, between 1998 and its close in 2003, I practised at East West Herbs clinic and acted as a Chinese Medical Adviser at the East West Herbs Shop in Covent Garden, London.
- Later, I worked as a Chinese Medical consultant at Sen Medicine. Working with a team of acupuncturists and Chinese herbalists treating patients with gynaecological issues, fertility and giving acupuncture for IVF treatments.
- I have over twenty years of experience in dealing with infertility, giving acupuncture to support IVF treatment and administrating acupuncture with Chinese Herbal Medicine for natural pregnancy.
- In addition to my private practice, I have been a consultant herbalist in two major retail companies, working with the most recent herbal products on the market and gaining insight into the latest research.
- I have also practised at The St. Mary's Hospital (The Caravan Project) giving acupuncture for various conditions including mental and emotional.
- I have taught Oriental Medical Theory, Acupressure and Shiatsu at the European Shiatsu School.
- I am also a practitioner of Qi Gong and Taijiquan. Qi Gong is a form of gentle exercise. In ancient China, Qi Gong was used as a means of curing diseases and improving health. I have taught these exercises extensively to my patients when needed.
